Luxembourg: Modernity - Loved Hated or Ignored

Luxembourg's exhibition in Academia

Rambling along the quiet calles near Academia, Luxembourg pulls up in its quiet Grand Canal-side apartments for its National exhibition to address Modernity in this year's Biennale.

The exhibition tracks 5 scenarios of key Modernist buildings in Luxembourg, and traces its role as modernist architecture in every day life and its relationship to the changing social  and cultural contexts through its use & adaptations over the years.

The exhibition is in the form of a series of investigations to assess how people have responded to these pieces of modernist architecture. The presentation approach further reflects this, with large scale mind maps a suggestion of a forensic investigation into the subject buildings.
